Chibi is Japanese for "short person", "small child", "little" or "young". It is described as a "chibi" a style of drawing anime characters, chibi is widely use and has gained notoriety amongst fans of manga and anime. A chibi character will be highly deformed with baby like features, smaller, chubbier bodies, larger eyes and head, and shorter arms and legs. This is done so they are more kawaii (cuter) and endearing. A Chibi can be used in a variety of ways as a character itself or as a more stylized version of a character, to for example convey stronger emotions, also as self-parody of normal sized characters. CB is an acronym for Child Body, and is a prefix indicating a chibi style. Its also the meaning is of someone or some animal that is small. It can be translated as "little," but is not used the same way as chiisana (tiny, small, little in Japanese).
